Facts About Hip Kit Club Subscriptions

Hip Kit Club has been around a long time and is family-owned and operated. Kimberly, the owner, is super nice and very approachable. They have been located in the Seattle area, but are in the process of moving their warehouse and everything to Arizona, I believe.

There are multiple kit clubs to choose from or kits you can add on to the main kit. I love choices so this was a plus for me.

Here are the different kits available:

• Main Kits: This is their flagship kit and features 12×12 patterned paper (cardstock), die-cuts, stickers, and other embellishments. The cost of the main kit is $34.95.
• Pocket Life Kits: This kit features coordinated 6×8 paper with cards, stamps and embellishments for pocket life style scrapbooking. The cost for the pocket life kit is $27.95.
• Embellishment Kits: This is a kit of the embellishments if you only want the embellishments and not the paper. The embellishment kit is $32.95.
• Color Kits: This kit includes premium inks, paints, sprays, and other mixed media products that coordinate with the kit. It is a great add-on. The color kits are generally around $19.95, but the price may vary a little due to the kind of items in the kit each month.
• Patterned Paper Kit: These kits have so many embellishments that you may want extra patterned paper to make even more layouts. This is the same patterned paper as the main kit. The patterned paper kit is $21.95.
• Cardstock Kits: Solid colored 80 pound cardstock that coordinates with the monthly kit. The backside of the cardstock usually has a faint design that makes this even more useful. This kit is $22.95.

When you order the main kit, any additional kits are 15% off the retail price for kit members. The initial commitment is for 3 months. After that, it is a month-to-month membership that only requires a 30-day notice to cancel.

Honest Hip Kit Club Review

I honestly cannot say a bad thing about the Hip Kit Club. I love this monthly scrapbooking kit. The amount of “stuff” you get with just the main kit is AMAZING. There is definitely more than you will ever expect. It is a great value for the money.

• Great value for the money spent. So many embellishments are included!
• Customer service is top-notch. I have reached out to customer service multiple times to change my add-ons; one time I had something missing from my box, and it was quickly sent out to me. They respond quickly to emails.
• Lots of inspiration is provided online to help you use your kit.
• Members get perks! The 15% off add-ons is one good perk. I currently do the Main Kit and the Cardstock Kit.
• Great Sales: A couple of times a year, they will have a sale on their extra kits and supplies, and the prices are unbeatable. I have ordered from several sales and have been astounded by how much I have gotten for a small price tag.
• Craft and Connect Community on Skool: this is a paper-crafting community that was started by Hip Kit Club. It is free to use for members and is full of fun inspiration plus connecting with other crafters around the world.
• Cut Files: Hip Kit Club releases new cut files each month for members. There is also a HUGE massive library of cut files that are free for members to download. Another big, big perk if you like cut files. There are so many cute ones.
• Versatile kits are another bonus. Some kits have seasonal elements, but overall the kits are more “general,” so they can be used for any type of layout.
• Shipping is $9.95 for the main kit and any add-ons ship free. Also if you order anything from the website they can hold the items and mail them at not extra charge with your main kit.
• These kits are CUSTOM and can’t be found anywhere else. They design the kits themselves. I love this aspect of the kit. They are unique!!

Craft and Connect Community

I wanted to talk about the Craft and Connect Community on Skool. I have come to really enjoy spending time in the community. You can share projects and look at other people’s projects. I get so many good ideas from looking at the other layouts.

There are tons of tutorials in the “classroom” section of Craft and Connect. There are also “live” crops you can attend with Zoom.

It is a fun place to hang out and browse. The more you interact, the more “points” you get. You can move up levels and get prizes as a thank you for being active in the community.

Well, I think you can see I am a loyal fan of the Hip Kit Club. I have lots of kits and plan to stay a member because I use these kits all the time. Have you tried this club out? Animal Kingdom Scrapbook Double Layout #1

This double page layout features four 4×6 photos. I love the rugged wood paper that I used for the page bases.

Scrapbook Layout #2

My daughter LOVES Zootopia, and the wait was worth it for her to get pics with Nick and Judy.

Disney Animal Kingdom Scrapbook Layout #3

I love Chip ‘n Dale and was excited to meet them, especially since they were dressed up for the holidays. This was a simple but cute layout with two horizontal photos.

Scrapbook Layout #4

One of our favorite rides is Expedition Everest, and I wanted to do a layout featuring our fun on this ride. This paper and embellishments from Simple Stories were perfect for these photos.

Two Page Layout #5

A one-inch circle punch made this layout easy but adorable! I used a compilation of 4×6 photos from our day for this layout. These circles were cut out of scraps of paper. Great way to use those scraps!

Animal Kingdom Scrapbook Layout #6

I call this layout “tilted layers” because I cut out squares and then tilted and layered them. Two photos are used on this one.

Layout One

This layout features 2 pictures and some big paper flowers. I used the Echo Park Yankee Doodle Collection for this layout and several of the other ones featured. This collection is so cute!

Layout Two

A layout featuring just one photo. Also the Yankee Doodle collection by Echo Park Paper. The background is white. Added some ribbon.

Layout Three

I love these pictures of my parents with my grandson. Such precious memories being made. How sweet is the goat in this layout??? LOVE!

Layout Four

Smoke bombs for the win! My grandson loved seeing the colored smoke.

Layout Five

This layout features Doodlebug Designs 4th of July collection kit. I think this kit is Yankee Doodle, but I can’t say for sure because I am typing this while on vacation, LOL. The polka dot flowers were an embellishment that was in the collection kit.

Layout Six

I used torn paper as a feature in this layout. I love the hot air balloon stickers!

Disney Scrapbook Layouts

Here are 15 Disney scrapbook layouts that are all single-page layouts. Most of these use traditional Disney color schemes because that is what paper is available for the most part.

Disney Layout One

This layout features two 4×6 photos and has long strips of paper that is layered at an angle. I love the “insta magic” journaling card on the layout.

Disney Layout Two

A film strip is a fun addition to this one-page Disney layout with white background paper.

Disney Scrapbook Layout Three

Our layout for the Alice in Wonderland meet and greet was made with some floral paper that was the same shade as Alice’s dress. A scalloped border was cut with my Cricut to mat the photos.

Disney Scrapbook Single Page Layout Four

A large banner and some red ribbon are the highights of this simple Disney scrapbook layout.

Disney Layout Five

Zig zags and strips can look great together! I also added some dimension by layering a small red doily on the layout.

Disney Layout Six

This is the good stuff! I love all the different sayings that come in the Disney ephemera packets.

Disney Scrapbook Layout Seven

Lots of arrows on this scrapbook layout featuring 2 Disney photos.

Disney Layout Eight

This Disney layout only has one 4×6 image as the focal point. It was one of the Disney “magic” photos with Mike from Monster’s Inc.

Disney Layout Nine

My big kids posing in front of the castle was the focal point. I love the view master die cut on this layout!

Disney Single Page Layout Ten

Big rectangle mat and a large narrow banner make this layout pop.

Disney Layout Eleven

I used Mosaic Moments dies for this fun layout. It is a great way to get more photos on the page.

Disney Layout Twelve

I got 3 photos on this layout by cutting them down a little bit.

Disney Layout Thirteen

Another fun Mosaic Moments layout featuring four photos.

Disney Scrapbook Layout Fourteen

A third, and probably my favorite, Mosaic Moments circular layout. It allows for EIGHT photos!

Disney Layout Fifteen

I love the background paper on this layout. It is like a party on the page!

Stampin’ Up Coneflower Celebrations Card Ideas

The Coneflower Celebrations stamp and die set is timeless and can be used for almost any occasion. That makes it a great staple stamp set to have in your stamping library.

For each card I made I just used a rectangular stitched die as my background die. This one in particular is from Queen & Co.

I used different papers from the Paper Roses, Maya’s Garden collection. These were from the 6×6 paper pad.

I loved the color scheme and wanted something that had some yellow in it to complement the flowers leaves.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the background paper for these cards.

Some cards were left blank, so I can either add an appropriate sentiment later or just use them as a general blank card. The butterfly is an added sweet touch for the cards, but could also be left off.

House Mouse Card Ideas

I bought these 2 House Mouse stamp sets on Whatnot. There are great craft shows there, and I find great deals, too.

Have a Very Mice Birthday House Mouse Card

This stamp features a cupcake with four candles and 4 little mice. One of the mice is lighting a candle with a match. It is so easy to customize this cupcake for any color scheme. It is a big enough stamp that it needs to be a horizontal card design.

I used a scalloped rectangular foundation die from Queen & Co for the border around the stamp. I coordinated my paper colors to the colors on the stamp.

Sending Mice Wishes

This stamp features a little mouse relaxing in my acorn shell boat. It can be used for so many occasions. I liked the basic “sending mice wishes” so I can use it for a variety of occasions.

I used floral and dots paper for the card with the stamp centered inside a zig zag circle.

Pink & Main One for the Books Card Ideas

I am no Monet, and coloring tiny details is hard for me to do well, LOL. So I liked the One for the Books stamp because it was a large size with few tiny details. Reading is so popular that this set will be great for lots of occasions.

One for the Books Card #1

The first card is a horizontal card with a basic rectangle frame die that features the books in the center. I used a lot of floral paper from my stash for these cards.

One for the Books Card #2

A large center circle highlights the book stamp. I used floral and polka dot papers for this card. I use the Foundation Dies from Queen & Company for all the background dies.

One for the Books Card #3

I love the reds and blues I chose for this One for the Books card. The angled look is a fun change. A small banner on the upper left corner finishes the look.

One for the Books Card #4

Pinks, blues, and yellows are the focal colors for Card #4. It is another horizontal card. A large circle features the stamped books.

One for the Books Card #5

Big florals and strips are the coordinating patterned paper used for card #5.

Pink & Main April Cat Card Ideas

There were so many lovely stamp sets in the Pink & Main April release (2026) this year. I ordered more than I should have, LOL.

April Cat Card Idea #1

The first card I made is super simple and great for beginning card makers. I used a basic dot-grid embossing folder to create the card’s background. I picked some paper from my stash for this background and felt it matched the colors of the books on the stamp.

April Cat Card Idea #2, #3, #4

The other three cards I made have the same basic design. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Torn Rectangle Dies to cut out the 2 mats for the card. I used different coordinating paper from my stash.

I adhered the die-cut stamped image of the cat with the stack of books and the sentiment with liquid glue adhesive. I decided to leave most of my cat’s white because I like the look of the white cat contrast with the other colors.

I love that this April Cat set has companion dies so I don’t have to fussy cut. It also very easy to pick any color scheme you want for the card. If you are super creative you can color the cats in very unique ways.

MINI ALBUM USING STAMPERIA HIDDEN GROVE COLLECTION

I love the SN@P! Albums and their accompanying inserts. I used those inserts in this mini album.

The Stamperia Hidden Grove collection offers lots of different embellishment options to bring that extra fun to your project.

This set features a woodland theme and one of my favorite characters in the set is the squirrel! He has such a fun bushy tail.

If you love mushrooms, this collection is for you! There are all sorts of mushrooms and even little mushroom houses!

I love scrapbooking baby pictures. My little grandson is so sweet and was it was fun to make a mini album using Stamperia Hidden Grove collection.

Boardwalk Fun Card Ideas

This stamp and die set comes with everything you need to make lots of cards. The sentiments are great for a couple of different themes. Here are the sentiments included:

• Celebrate
• Hey Sunshine
• Happy Birthday
• Enjoy the Ride

You can also use other sentiment stamps you already have on hand.

Card One with Boardwalk Fun

The first card I will highlight is one that features PALM TREES! The sentiment I used was “Hey Sunshine”. I know it will be perfect to send to my sister or a friend in Florida. The paper used for this card came from my stash.

I used the palm tree stamps and then added the sentiment. This was a quick and easy card!

Card Two & Three with the Roller Coaster

This roller coaster reminds me of one at a local theme park that was in business when I was a kid. It has long since closed, but I still remember and miss it. I used the coaster and some palm trees layered on both cards.

The ticket die is very versatile and makes the perfect place to stamp a sentiment. I used “Celebrate” on this first card. I added the coaster cars die to match the ticket paper for some color coordination.

The second card I left the coaster cars black. I used the sentiment “Enjoy the Ride” and will use this for birthdays.

Cards Three & Four with a Ferris Wheel

Adding in the ferris wheel was so much fun. It looks so cute on the cards. I can also use it on vacation scrapbook layouts. The first card has hot pink as the coordinating color.

The second card is identical, with different colors and more bling!
