DOODLEBUG DESIGNS DOGGONE CUTE COLLECTION

I absolutely love Doodlebug Designs products. They are always colorful and happy. The Doggone Cute Collection was just what I needed for this dog mini album.

I love that they offer lots of add-ons so there are plenty of embellishments available for any project.

Here are the supplies I used for the mini album:

DOG MINI ALBUM COVER

I decided to feature a photo on the cover of the dog mini album. I added stickers that say “Puppy Love”.

The circle cardstock sticker is raised with pop dots. The “best friends fur-ever” sticker is also raised with pop dots to give some more dimension to the mini album cover.

PAGE ONE

One thing I love about Simple Stories SN@P Binders is they come with 8 page inserts, 3 Kraft dividers and 10 pocket pages.

For the cover page of the album I used one of the included page inserts. It is black with white polka dots.

I matted a 4 x 6 card from the paper pack. A thick green banner along the bottom. Then I popped up the paw print embellishment with pop dots.

The backside of this page has a photo that is offset from a red rectangle. There are two strips along the side. The smaller one is cut into a banner on both ends. I popped up the circle that says “sloppy kisser”.

PAGE TWO

The next page is one of the Kraft dividers. One the front I have a photo on a large mat. There is a sticker that says “pawsitively cute” along the bottom of the photo. I added some red rick rack ribbon along the side of the photo.

I popped up the “spoiled” sticker with pop dots.

PAGE THREE

The next page is one of the included page inserts. It is black with big white polka dots. I added two photos onto the page. Then I used various embellishments to the photos.

The back side features a photo on some orange paw print cardstock. Then I added a strip of red pom pom ribbon along the side of the photo. Lastly, a sticker that is raised with pop dots.

PAGE FOUR

The next Kraft divider features a close up photo of the sweet dog. A bow was added under the photo. The sticker is raised with pop dots.

The backside features a photo and a strip under the photo that says “dogs are pure happiness”. The sticker is raised with pop dots.

PAGE FIVE

The next page is one of the included page inserts. I used a paw print border sticker along one side. The sticker is raised with pop dots.

The back side has some red and white rick rack ribbon along the bottom of the photo.

PAGE SIX

The third Kraft divider features a photo with “I love my dog” stickers.

POCKET PAGES

The binder comes with 10 pocket pages. This really helps you add lots of photos to the album.

MINI TRAVEL ALBUM COVER

The 49 and Market Wherever Collection had some embellishment cluster ideas and I used those ideas for my cover. It was just the look I was going for.

Originally, I had purchased the mini album kit from The Button Farm, but didn’t want to make my own mini album. So I used the supplies in the kit to do my own thing with a Simple Stories SN@P! album. It holds a lot more pages and photos.

The album covers our trip to Norway in the summer of 2023.

SIMPLE STORIES SN@P! MINI ALBUM BINDER

If you haven’t used the SN@P! mini album binders before then you are missing out on a treat. I have used these more many mini albums. I love the size of the albums. They are 6 x 8 inches. There are lots of album colors available now too.

The albums come with 8 SN@P! pages, 3 kraft dividers and 10 pocket pages.

I used a black binder for this project.

I like to utilize the front and back of each page and kraft divider. A lot more photos and embellishments can be used in the album by using both sides!

MINI ALBUM KRAFT PAGES

There are three kraft pages in the binder. They are nice thick pages and great for embellishing!

I love all the chipboard embellishments available in the 49 and Market collections. They worked so well with layering and clustering.

Another item I really loved in the collection was the washi stickers. They have a look similar to rub-ons, but go on fast and easy. I burnished the stickers to make sure they were on the page to stay. The green car in the photo below is one of the washi stickers.

The colors of the Wherever collection went perfectly with our pictures from Norway! I loved the map embellishments.

SN@P! BINDER PAGES

Each binder comes with 8 pages. These are typically an assortment of stripes, polka dots, lined, graph paper, etc. I didn’t like the look of some of the black striped, dots with my photos so I swiped some pages I had left over from another project.

If you don’t like the pages that come with the binder it isn’t a problem. Just grab the cardstock you do like and cut it down to 6×8 inches and hole punch 2 holes along one side.

TRAVEL MINI ALBUM POCKET PAGES

The binder comes with 10 assorted pocket pages. I used most of these for this project because I had a lot of photos to work with. Some albums I even add more pocket pages. You can order refills of the different styles of pocket pages.

Be sure to buy the SN@P! binder refills and not the SN@P! flipbook refills. They are a little bit different.

Another great aspect of these binders is that they have the name plate on the side so you can label your album!
