How to Organize Rhinestone Embellishments
If you love bling, you will want to know how to organize rhinestone embellishments for your scrapbooking and card-making projects. I have tried lots of ways and finally found an organization technique I love!
HOW TO ORGANIZE RHINESTONE EMBELLISHMENTS
Rhinestones used to be the main bling on scrapbook layouts and cards. These days, there are tons of different types of small embellishments, like enamel dots, pearl dots, and more.
I organize all of these small embellishments together as long as they are self-adhesive on sheets. Loose rhinestones are in a different type of container!
My friend Ronnie shared this idea with me, and I was hooked! I do a lot of crafting at crops and like to have my embellishments transportable. This system is easy to transport.
GET A PHOTO & CRAFT KEEPER
The first thing you need is a Photo & Craft Keeper. These are the plastic storage containers that have 16 individual cases inside. You can find them at most big box craft retailers like Michaels, Joann, and Hobby Lobby. Please don’t pay full price for one of these. They go on sale often for half-price or more.
I use the clear photo keeper so it is easy to see what is inside each case.
ORGANIZE BY COLOR
I like to organize my rhinestones by color. There are 16 cases, so there are plenty of spaces for all the colors.
I use my Label Maker to label each case with the color. The label is placed on the top of the case for ease of use.
Put the bling in the correct case, and BAM…you are done!
I know this isn’t rocket science, but it is a simple and effective way to organize the bling so you can quickly find the color you want. Now you know how to organize rhinestone embellishments!
One of my favorite places to buy bling is Queen & Co. My cases are full of their bling, LOL!
