Three Travel Layouts Using Simple Stories Pack Your Bags Collection
We went on a trip to London last spring and I have been working on the scrapbook for this trip. I created three travel layouts using Simple Stories Pack Your Bags collection and I love how they turned out.

LAYOUTS USING SIMPLE STORIES PACK YOUR BAGS COLLECTION
I love using collections because it takes all the guesswork out of my scrapbooking. Everything coordinates and works together, allowing me to create fast yet fun layouts. Simple Stories always has excellent paper and embellishment collections, and the Simple Stories Pack Your Bags collection is no different.
SUPPLIES USED
Here is a list of the supplies I used for these double-page travel layouts.
- Simple Stories Pack Your Bags Collector’s Essential Kit
- Pack Your Bags Foam Stickers
- Pack Your Bags Page Pieces
- Simple Stories Simple Pages Page Template Design 9
- Simple Stories Color Vibe Textured Cardstock Lights & Bolds
- Bearly Art Precision Art Glue
- 3L Scrapbook Adhesive
- Pop Dots

TRAVEL LAYOUT #1
The first travel layout has 6 photos on it. It is very easy to put together. The right page has 3 different papers from the Simple Stories Pack Your Bags collection that were cut into large strips 3.5 inches by 11 inches. You could use any of the patterned paper you like.
There are 3 vertical photos and 3 horizontal photos; all are 4×6 inches. I used a 3×4 card from the card sheet that says “Go Seek Explore”. Next was a tag from the tag page that I journaled on. I added a gold glitter epoxy bling to the top. The sentiment on the bottom of the photo is a foam sticker that adds great dimension.
The left page is mainly photos arranged as shown. There is a 1/2 inch strip of patterned paper running along the edge. The flowers are a chipboard sticker that I added some glitter Stickles to the centers of each flower.

TRAVEL LAYOUT #2
This double-page layout has fewer images and a lot of white space, which was a great contrast to the previous layout.
Four vertical 4×6 inch photos were used on this layout. Two photos for each page. I decorated the page with hexagons. A Creative Memories hexagon punch was used to cut out the hexagon shapes from patterned paper from the Simple Stories Pack Your Bags collection. I arranged the hexagons on both sides of the layout without overwhelming it.

Some dimension was gained with the “Let’s Go” and the “Explore” chipboard stickers. The bottom strip of paper was 1/2 inch by 4 inches on each page along the bottom of the photos.

TRAVEL LAYOUT #3
The last layout was “scrap-lifted” from the back of the Simple Stories Simple Pages Page Pieces package. I love the page pieces packages because they give you a layout idea right on the package insert.
To achieve the photo layout design I used the Simple Stories Simple Pages Page Template Design #9. This makes it SO easy to get the photos laid out just right. There are 4 4×4 inch photos and 4 horizontal 4×6 inch photos.

I added pop dots to the back of the flowers on both pages to add dimension. The cardstock backgrounds is from the Simple Stories Color Vibe cardstock
