Single Photo Scrapbook Layouts Using Amber Autumn Collection
The Fancy Pants Designs Amber Autumn Collection features a range of beautiful, calming fall colors. I created three single photo scrapbook layouts using this fun collection.
WHY MAKE A SINGLE PHOTO SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT?
It is still challenging for me to select just one photo for the page. But the more I do it, the easier it gets. Sometimes the one photo is all you need!
If you have photos that deserve all the attention, try creating single-photo scrapbook layouts.
LAYOUT #1 PRETTY & PUMPKINS
This first layout features my gorgeous oldest daughter. The background is a white piece of shiny glimmer cardstock. I cut two rectangular pieces from the patterned paper from the Amber Autumn collection. I did mat the smaller patterned piece with some solid cardstock so it popped. The photo is centered in the smaller rectangle.
I added some embellishments from the embellishments pack. The pumpkins are dimensional using pop dots. This was a fast layout, but it turned out beautifully.
LAYOUT #2 DAYDREAMING
A layout featuring my oldest and my youngest daughters. I used the plaid-patterned paper from the collection as the background. I matted the photo with yellow cardstock.
Next I just added tons of embellishments along the bottom and one side of the photo. I added dimension to some of the embellishments for some dimension.
LAYOUT #3 MY LITTLE SUNSHINE
This pretty layout features my youngest daughter on the first day of school in 4th grade. I thought the patterned paper went perfectly with the shirt she is wearing in the photo.
The background is white cardstock. Then I used a die from Queen & Co. Foundation Dies Set #24 to cut the shapes that frame the photo. I cut out 8 shapes from 3 different patterned papers. Lastly, I added embellishments to finish off the single photo scrapbook layout.
